Speaking of planning our vacation, I also need to start looking into getting some new luggage. Our old ones are just falling apart now. I guess if we would quit taking so many vacations, and I didn’t have to go away for work so often, we wouldn’t have to buy luggage so often. But, I’m fine with that. I’ll stick to taking a couple vacations every year and having to buy luggage more often than most people. I see no problems with that at all. But, that’s just me.
I’ve been looking at hotel deals like crazy lately. I think we are going to figure out where we are going on vacation this Summer completely based upon the best hotel that we can find for the best price. It should be a fun little way to plan a vacation I think. So far we’ve found a couple really nice ones for about the same prices so now we just kind of need to pick one and go with it. I love vacation planning time.
I just found something really cool. It’s a site that books up Condo Hotels. Instead of just staying in a regular hotel for a couple nights while you are on vacation you can stay in one of these places that are just like a condo. It’s really nice looking. I’m thinking about looking more into it for my trip to Las Vegas this summer. That would be really cool, and something that I have never done before. And, you know that’s something that I am always up for.
I have been to quite a few bed and breakfasts before in my life. A pretty good decent amount actually, I love them. And, I love finding new ones. Well I just found some online that are west lothian bed and breakfast. I’m not sure if I will ever be able to actually go to one, but man. They look about a million times nicer than any of the ones that I have even stayed at. Even just looking at the pictures themselves, you can tell how great looking they are. I’ve got to figure out a way to go to one of these. That would make for an awesome vacation, and I know the wifey would completly love the heck out of it.
I am so jealous of my friend. Next month he is going on vacation for three weeks. I’m having a hard time being able to get one work off from work to go somewhere, but he managed to get three weeks off in a row, from all the vacation time that he has saved up over the last few years. Which is also something I never do. I take the week every year pretty much. But, he’s going to Newcastle. He was talking to me about it the other day and he was talking to me about how he was worried about how he was going to get around the whole time he was there, so I found him a newcastle van hire site that is going to be perfect for him. It looks like it’s going to be the nicest and cheapest way for him to get from point a to point b while he is there. For 3 weeks he’ll be there, and I am so jealous.
My sister just got herself a vacation home Orlando and she is really excited. She is going to stay down there for a month, and I think I am going to go down there for a week, or maybe just a weekend. She’s staying for a month but one of the weekends she is going to stay with some other friends. So I may go down there with a couple of my friends while she is gone that weekend. That would be really cool to have the whole place to ourselves. It will be nice to get away with a couple friends for a good weekend.
I got to thinking a couple days ago that even when I do figure out where to go on vacation, I won’t have anything to put my stuff in. I forgot that last year all of my luggage got ruined at the airport. So, I need to get online and order some more from the same site I did last time. They had great deals on everything. Hopefully I’ll be able to find something similar to what I had before, I really like them. If not, I’m sure they’ll have something even better this time. I guess I should get on that or I’ll be taking all of my stuff in paper bags. That wouldn’t work out too well.
On my endless quest to find the perfect place to go on vacation, I am now looking at some property on the Outer Banks. I’ve had some family go there a few years ago, and I just looked at all of there pictures and stuff that they took. It looks really nice. So, now I can’t decide. I’ll add it to the long list of places I want to go. But, I’m going to put it near the top though because it looks awesome. The pictures they showed me were beautiful. They said it was really nice and relaxing. And, that is exactly what I am looking for.
As I sit here with nothing going on at all, my friend is off enjoying a Maine bed and breakfast. That would be so nice. Not that I am not enjoying my weekend of nothing to do, I really wouldn’t mind being out of state relaxing and taking in some really nice scenery. I could really handle that right about now. I’m so jealous of him because it seems like it’s been forever since I have been on a vacation. Oh well, at least he’s bringing me back something, and sent me a postcard.
