I got alot of good things for Christmas this year. And, for some reason every year I always end up getting a ton of one certain thing from a few different people. I guess it’s because I make one Christmas list and give it out to everybody, but this time around I ended up getting tons of golf balls from my friends and my family. It was kind of funny really. But, oh well, I’ll end up using every single one of them. One of the sets even had my initials engraved into them, and that was really cool.

I am on a roll with Christmas presents. I bought some tickets for my friend a few days ago, so that got me to thinking. My friend that lives a few minutes away from me, who is from Chicago has not been to a Bears game since he moved here 10 years ago. So, I went ahead and got him some Bears tickets. I got two tickets, one for him and one for me, and I’m going to drive us there for the game. It should be a lot of fun, I think he’ll have a blast. And, it will be a fun road trip, and everybody knows I love road trips. Even though Chicago is a crazy busy city, we’ll have a blast.

I can’t wait for Saturday night. The UFC pay per view is on and everybody is coming over to watch it. It’s going to be alot of fun. Only thing that sucks is that I should be there watching it live and in person. The event is about 15 minutes away from my house, but tickets sold out too fast, and I didn’t have any extra money when they went on sale. So, I’ll have to watch it on tv like always. Hopefully they come back soon, I would love to see a live UFC event.

Well, I ended up doing it. I spent $160 so that I can watch a crap load of hockey games every day. There is something like 40 games a week on. Of course I wont be able to watch all of them, but I sure will be channel surfing to them everynight to see who is winning. Opening day is this Wednesday night. I flat out can’t wait. I’ll be on the edge of my seat all night long. The cool thing is that they also threw in some free stuff because I ordered it. I got Cinemax and a few more HD channels free for a year. Not too shabby of a deal really. Well, not including how freakin much I had to pay for the hockey package. But, oh well. I love hockey and now I am going to have more games than I can watch as opposed to only about 10 games being on tv the whole season.

I think I have decided to go ahead and get the NHL Center Ice package through my cable service. There just isn’t much hockey shown on American television and I want to watch more than one game every month. So, the only other route that I can go is pay alot of money to watch about 40 games a week. I’m excited, it’ll be fun to watch so much hockey in a season.
