Late Again
One of the girls I work with is constantly late to work and this morning it happened again. Apparently her car battery was dead this morning. She always has something going on that makes her late or gives her an excuse to stay home.
Dress Shoes
I can’t find my dress shoes anywhere. I think I am going to have to go out and get some. I don’t remember moving them to this house when I moved. I really don’t feel like going out tonight but I have to have them for tomorrow. So I have about a half hour to decide if I’m going or not before the stores start closing. I’m going to look one more place then I will give in and buy a new pair.
Dressing Up
I have to dress up for work tomorrow. I never have to dress up, but tomorrow I do. Something about clients coming in so we have to look presentable. So now I have to go through my closet and find something to wear and make sure it gets ironed. That’s way too much work. Oh well, I guess I don’t have a choice.
Suit Up
I just ordered my boss his Christmas present. Everytime he has a big meeting he has to wear a suite, and everytime he complains that he can’t find his cufflinks. So, I went ahead and got him three pairs that I’m going to give him for Christmas. One of the pair even looks like little iPods. He’s always got his iPod on him. I know he couldn’t actually wear them to a meeting, but they were too cool to pass up. I’m a good employee.
