The wifey dragged me out a couple days ago to look for bathroom vanities. Not something I really care about, but we did find a couple things that look really nice. I think the one that she really likes is the one that we are going to get next week when we get paid. The best part will of course be putting the dang thing together. That’s never fun for me.
I need to look into some air cleaners. Everybody here has been sick for the last couple of weeks. Sneazing and coghing all of the place. A few years ago we had a really nice one and I really think it helped everybody feel alot better alot quicker because that stuff wasn’t always floating through the air. But, the one broke about a year ago and I never did get around to buying a new one, but it’s that time. I need to find one soon.
I need to find a place that sells some dog supplies for cheap. Everytime I buy Rover something nice, he just eats it up. This is why we don’t have nice things. So, I need to find a better place to buy the stuff. I don’t want to take away the things he is used to having, but I am tired of paying what I do for all the stuff. I’m sure it wont be too hard to do because I just always buy stuff on a whim at the petstore, so I know I can get the things for cheaper online. Just like I always do.
I have to go shopping for light fixtures here soon. The wife is tired of what’s in the kitchen and it no longer matches the things she has done in there in the last 2 years. I agree with her, but I just don’t really care that much. But, we’re going to start looking around at stores and what not like we always do, then buy it online for alot cheaper than we could at a store. Same old, same old. That’s just how we shop.
My mom just bought a new bath lift for her upstairs bathroom. I talked her into getting one for downstairs a couple years ago, and I put it in for her and everything. She loved it. I told her I would do the same for upstairs but she said nobody ever goes upstairs, so it wasn’t worth it. Then out of nowhere she called and said she wanted to go ahead and do it, so I did it for her. It turned out great, probably better than the first one did. So, needless to say she’s really happy she finally did it.
Our water heater went out last night and we had to call our landlord and get it fixed pretty quickly because of how freakin’ cold it is outside. Before he went out and bought the new one he said he was going to look at some tankless water heaters, which I had never heard of before. Well, that’s what he ended up buying. It’s pretty sweet and it surely works a whole lot better than our old one did, even when it was running great. Good thing my landlord likes newer technology just as much as I do.
I hadn’t really realized it, but I really need a new mattress for my bed. It just hit me all of a sudden a few nights ago, but the one we have now is pretty much completely shot. And, now that I have realized it everynight it’s a fight for me to get comfortable. I hate it. When I go to bed, that should be the most relaxing point of my day, and I shoulnd’t have to fight just to find one certain posistion that I can fall asleep in. It’s for sure at the top of my list of things to get.
Every year after Christmas I end up and going to buy myself something with the money I got. It’s usually something that I had on my Christmast list, but nobody got me. This year was no different, so the day after Christmas I went out and bought some fitness equipment. I really thought I was going to get a few different things, but I ended up getting nothing, so I just got it myself. I think I’m going to turn the garage into a nice little workout space. It should be alot of fun, and obviously very helpful to my health.
I think the craziest gift I ended up getting for Christmas was a big ole box of diet pills. My mom got them for me. I guess that is her way of saying that I am fat or something like that. I had already been looking into getting myself some, and she knew that, so she was obviously just paying attention to what I had been talking about. But, we all got a good laugh out of it when I opened that present, because I called her on it, and asked if she was calling me fat. It was funny.
I finally decided to get rid of my old tv stand and go ahead and get a tv mount. I got my LCD tv almost a year ago, and I have been wanting to get one this whole time, I just never got around to it. But, now the tv can’t sit in the corner like it has been so I kind of have to redo my whole living room setup. But, that is really no big deal because that is something else I have been wanting to do as well. So now that I got the mount, I am more motivated to make it all look good.
