Tonight I took a really nice drive. I just got in the car and went, with nowhere in particular to go. It was nice, and relaxing. I turned on some good relaxing music, drove out of the city, and just enjoyed the open road. It was good times though. I should do that more often. It’s a really good easy get away.
I bought pretty much the best radar detector money could buy last night. I’ve got a couple speeding tickets here lately, so I figured either slow down, or buy something to help me out. So, I bought something that will hopefully keep me from getting these stupid tickets. It’s not always my fault that I am running behind and I’m in a hurry everywhere I go. Ok, maybe it…but still. Hopefully this will help. It cost a few dollars but it will be well worth it in the end. And, I figure if you buy something, you might as well go all out with it and do it right.
I’m just linking up a bunch of friends sites, trying to keep them all linked together for the serps, so this is basically a pointless post with a bunch of links in it. It lets the search engine roam a little around and kind of loop. Oh and the sky lanterns couldnt forget the sky lanterns
Why is it that every-time I get in my car it seems like I get stuck there for hours on end. It just seems to me like one long never ending trip. Not to mention all the people on the road with no clue on how to drive. Just the other day I almost got side swiped by a lady that was turning left and instead of waiting for me to make it through the intersection almost turned right into the side of my car. Sometimes I joke that I must have an invisible car. I mean that has to explain why people just pull out in front of me right? Also why is it that if you are in the slightest rush that you hit every light and get behind people who can’t get their car above 25 mph? Driving just flat out stinks.
Today I took my car to the shop because it was making a clanking noise as I drove it down the road. The mechanic told me that my wheel bearings were about to fall off, so I gave him the keys and he told me he would have it done in a few hours. Later in the afternoon he called and told me my car was done. It ran great and the problem was fixed. I paid my $450.00 and drove my baby home.
Today my car broke down on me. I found out that I need to get a new transmission. It will cost me about $1600 to get it fixed. I don’t know how I’m gonna get the money to fix it. Looks like I will be two-steppin it for a while. Hopefully I will get the money soon and all will be better again.
