Real Estate Test

I have got a friend that is getting ready to take his Real Estate Appraisal Exam. He’s been going crazy the last couple of weeks staying up all night and studying for it. I picked him up some software a few days ago to help him out. The software is very similar to the test, but of course not exact. But, it’s close enough to give him a good feel for what the actual test is going to be like. Hopefully it helps him out. It really looks like it is going to. As long as it does help, and he passes then it was well worth it.

Home Sweet Home

I’ve been looking into mortgages lately. I like the place I am living in right now, but I am kinda getting tired of renting. I want something that I can call my own. The only problem I have is that I keep hearing about all kinds of bad credit mortgage problems. I have to make sure before I do anything that I have a mortgage payment protection plan. I don’t want to get into anything that I can’t afford each month. I would much rather stay where I am, and keep renting rather than get in too deep to something that I can’t afford, and have to back out after a few months. That would be horrible. I’ve been hearing that banks are giving money out too easily to people and jacking up interest rates. I couldn’t handle that, I don’t think. It just makes it hard for me to have to worry about a bank just trying to make a huge buck off of a first time buyer. I just fear that if I went in right now with them knowing my situation that they would cleary take advantage of me and my situation. That’s just not fair in my opinion. I’ll have to do a lot of research on the matter before I make any decision what so ever. I want something to call my own, but in a way it may not be worth all the hassle. I am happy where I am now, but of course there is room for improvement, but not if it is going to set me back even further.
