I hadn’t really realized it, but I really need a new mattress for my bed. It just hit me all of a sudden a few nights ago, but the one we have now is pretty much completely shot. And, now that I have realized it everynight it’s a fight for me to get comfortable. I hate it. When I go to bed, that should be the most relaxing point of my day, and I shoulnd’t have to fight just to find one certain posistion that I can fall asleep in. It’s for sure at the top of my list of things to get.
I really have no idea even what it is, but my boss told me I need to look around and find him a good price on a plasma cutter. Now, I haven’t really even stepped foot into our wharehouse in over a year, so I really have no clue what is going on in there. But, from what he says we really need one of these things, so it’s up to me to find him the best one for the best price. Why exactly am I always the go to guy when it comes to stuff like this?
My brother is at it again, looking at scouping up some more real estate because he found a really good price on some property. This time he’s looking at some folly beach real estate. Yet again, it looks like he has nailed it and found a really good deal, just like he always does. I wish I could start working with him, but I just don’t have the extra money like he does. But he does a great job, and makes a great living out of doing that kind of stuff. It’s fun to watch him find places like this.
I think the best present I bought for somebody this year was the travelpro set that I got my brother and his wife. It was one of those things that they didn’t put on there Christmas list because they didn’t think anybody would spend the money, but I knew that they had been looking at them for a while now. So, I figured why the heck not. They travel so much and have a really old crappy set of luggae. They really needed new ones, so I’m glad I was able to get it for them. It also helped that I got a really good deal on them, too.
I’m listening to Tool’s 10,000 Days album right now and it’s actually the first time I have listened to it in quite a while. I still think that this is pretty much the greatest album ever made, hands down. It’s just perfect from start to finish. I hope they don’t wait another 5 years until they release there next album, but if they do it’s always worth the wait. Tool is the perfect example of quality over quanity.
Every year after Christmas I end up and going to buy myself something with the money I got. It’s usually something that I had on my Christmast list, but nobody got me. This year was no different, so the day after Christmas I went out and bought some fitness equipment. I really thought I was going to get a few different things, but I ended up getting nothing, so I just got it myself. I think I’m going to turn the garage into a nice little workout space. It should be alot of fun, and obviously very helpful to my health.
I think the craziest gift I ended up getting for Christmas was a big ole box of diet pills. My mom got them for me. I guess that is her way of saying that I am fat or something like that. I had already been looking into getting myself some, and she knew that, so she was obviously just paying attention to what I had been talking about. But, we all got a good laugh out of it when I opened that present, because I called her on it, and asked if she was calling me fat. It was funny.
One thing I never really thought I would be looking into and buying is medical jewelry. To be honest, a few months ago, I really had no idea even what it was. But, my cousin has been pretty sick lately, so it was a really good idea for her. Now she has a braclet on her at all times so that if something happens to her and none of us are around, people can see some of her information until one of us are able to be there with her. It’s basically jewelry that could save her life, and that’s priceless.
I finally decided to get rid of my old tv stand and go ahead and get a tv mount. I got my LCD tv almost a year ago, and I have been wanting to get one this whole time, I just never got around to it. But, now the tv can’t sit in the corner like it has been so I kind of have to redo my whole living room setup. But, that is really no big deal because that is something else I have been wanting to do as well. So now that I got the mount, I am more motivated to make it all look good.
Don’t you just hate when your friends come over, and pretty much wear out there welcome? It’s nice of them to come over, but then they crash on your couch and stay for hours the next day. I was ready to get busy and get some stuff done around the house, but they just don’t get the clue. It gets really annoying.
